The main traffic entrance is the East
Entrance. The semicircular front part of the Plaza forms a hub
of traffic, and divides up pedestrians from vehicles. Vehicles
could go directly to the underground parking lot; taxi cabs
drop off passengers in the front part of the Plaza or at the
main entrances to the Conference Center and the Exhibition Center;
buses are parked either sequentially in the middle part of the
Plaza or in the Large Truck Parking Lot in the South of the
center if they are to be parked there for a long time. The Central
Plaza is a special place for ceremonies and celebrations. People
enter Chongqing International Convention & Exhibition Center
from the three plazas or directly through the main avenues.
